Welcome! I noticed when my listeners suddenly ballooned about 20%, all PSP users.

A number of my listeners have been trying to listen to the station on their PSPs, but can't figure out how... but all of them use modded firmware. Maybe that's the problem. I'm not a gamer and don't have a PSP myself, but my son Tim (aka Tenshigami) does.

What's the trick? Maybe there isn't one, maybe it's simple, but I'm just really curious.

1. Run your Sony PSP Radio.
2. Select "JPOP" channel (scroll down with SQUARE + Analog down)
3. Click right arrow (or left if u want). Click it as much as you need to connect to "Yggdrasil Radio | Jpop from anime and games..."
4. Never click arrows again, this station is your only one. Now you are cursed with anime music! XD

When i get my PSP work well with plugins I'll do some screenshots.
I hope I helped.

Wish it was that easy for me. I've done that numerous times since I first installed the Internet Radio app. Yggdrasil Radio never shows up.

When I use FreeRadio 1.7 to connect directly without having to "tune" the radio, I can get as far as listing the currently playing song, but no audio. All other stations work.

I don't know if it help but you can give it a try.
Here's my RadioPlayer save file:
http://rapidshare.com/files/88437775/In ... I.prs.html
Just in case backup your old file.
Copy it to MS:\PSP\RADIOPLAYER\(here)

I compered my PSP fat to my PSP Slim (both have 3.90-M33) and on Slim I have Yggdrasil, but on PSP fat not. I think it's becouse fat can't play AAC+, I'm not sure but it can be...
Just tell if you have fat or slim and can you listen Yggdrasil Radio. At least fat users have homebrew.

I have a PSP Phat with 3.90 M33 and 1.50 kernel addon. AAC+ doesn't seem to be the problem because other AAC+ streams seem to work for me. Just not Yggdrasil.

After a little looking around in a hex editor, it appears that the last listened to station does not get saved into the player file on your memory stick. That makes plenty of sense, actually. That would be like an exe file overwriting itself. From what I can see, the last station listened to may be stored in flash1:\net\http\cookie.dat. NOTE: That's flash1, not flash0. flash1 is where firmware configuration settings are stored.

Maybe you are right coz this Radio at all is browser based.
I don't have time for this, but you can search on google why on psp fat aren't radio stations that are in slim.

Ok. I tested last way to run Yggdrasil on PSP fat and guess what... it works (almost...). Well I used modified PSP Internet Radio, when I ran it on my Slim it worked like it supposed to, but when I ran it on PSP Fat only what it loaded is data like what is playing now, stream just won't load... So it's what I said before "PSP Fat can't play AAC+" (maybe AAC but not AAC+). So sorry guys you need to listen it by PC or buy PSP Slim :P

btw. I don't know is verb "run" in meaning of play smth in Past should be "ran" ':P

Bah. Must be some $ony crap like the whole "Skype can only be used on Slim." Tell that to noobz.

It's possible that either FreePlay or Dark_AleX could figure out what part of the Internet Radio Player and/or the firmware is locking the Phat out of AAC+ stations.

As for buying a Slim? No thanks. I can't live without my 1.50 kernel.

How your PSP should be with Yggdrasil radio.

1. Connecting...

2. Connection Error (There's no slots left)

3. Connected (never turn off)

That's how Yggdrasil is on PSP Slim (coz Fat as we know can't play it).
