Yggdrasil Radio Discussion

What happens when I shut the door of my office for three days, with the Yggdrasil server inside? The server gets really warm, and eventually the computer falls face down in a puddle of bits.

That happened last night around midnight... I woke up at 6 am, looked in and could see the server was in serious trouble... the network activity light indicated that machine was having severe connectivity issues.

Sure enough, the server logs told nothing but a tale of woe, and the station was essentially down. I tried to fix it before I went to work, to no avail.

Several hours later, my wife opened the door and left it open, with the window open, to do some sewing.

She left the door open for the rest of the day, inadvertently saving my butt. Around mid-day, I noticed from work that the station seemed to have clawed its way out of the grave.

It's a bit chilly outside, but I'm leaving the window open, and I'll be leaving the door open, and repositioning the server to get maximum airflow around it.

I've got an idea that might remedy that prob.
Air Condition!

Even though the air conditioning was on the entire time, it didn't help! If the door is closed, that room just gets really hot for some reason. It's the only room in the house that's like that. If the door is open, though, it cools down quite nicely.

You probably have a clog somewhere or it's not even connected to the AC.
